Military and Veterans

National Security relies on a strong military as a deterrence for our enemies. Our military must a have the best equipment and training available. This isn’t always the case. Woke and DEI ideologies are distractors to our men and women in the military. We need to return to A Strong and Focused Fighting Force.

• Ensure proper funding for equipment and training.
• Defund and cancel DEI programs
• Ensure pay and benefits are competitive

                Our Veterans have sacrificed to server and protect our nation and deserve our respect and gratitude. This is reflected in the care we give them after they leave the service. The Dept of Veteran Affairs is a victim of bureaucracy and budget.

• Streamline the Disability rating system, the process should start day one of service verse upon separation
• Military retire pay tax exempt
• Eliminate VA offset to retire pay. Repeal U.S. Code Title 38 Section 5304
• Increase outreach and services to homeless veterans through existing programs and expansion as necessary
