As a retired Army First Sergeant, I understand the needs of our Service Members and Veterans and am committed to them. The Men and Woman who server or have served in the Military made a commitment to support and defend the Constitution of the United States. We should uphold our commitment to them.  The resources should be available, and the bureaucracy should be eliminated.  No veteran should have to forgo the services available to them because the process is to cumbersome, inefficient or hard to access. Children our some of the most vulnerable people and it's our duty to protect them.  Unfortunately, there has been an increase in those that target children as well as males invading women sports and personal spaces.  The use of social media, organizations and position of influence are putting our children and women at a greater risk. We are a nation of immigrants. Our country thrives with the contributions made by immigrants from around the world.  Those that wish to come to our country and be a part of the fabric of America must do so by following our immigration laws. Illegal immigration is a drain on our resources and contributes to crime and poverty.   Read More

Social Security cannot be fixed. It must be replaced.  The American people can no longer be held hostage by a flawed system.  A new national retirement plan would allow you to maintain ownership of your contribution, pass the remaining balance to your heirs and give you more flexibility to determine your retirement age.  Read More

 Let's get Uncle Sam's hands out of our pockets.  The American worker is nickel and dimed at every level of government. With the complex tax laws and various deductions equitable taxation is not achievable. The Federal tax code needs a revision and simplification.

Health care in the United States has gotten out of control. There are a multitude of issues that need to be addressed. Socialized medicine is not the answer. A reform of the health Insurance and health care industries is a must.
